Minimums: Certain tours will require a minimum number of passengers to operate at the listed rates. You will be advised at the time of booking if other persons are needed to guarantee the requested departure.
Payment: All payments can be made by cash, travelers check or credit card to Zip Gatlinburg Family Adventures. A credit card number and/or payment in full are required to confirm all reservations. Rates do not include gratuities or items of a personal nature. Prices are quoted in US dollars.
Cancellation/ Refund Policy: Please notify us as soon as possible if changes need to be made to your reservation. Cancellations must exceed
72 hours before your scheduled tour in order for a full refund, or we will reschedule your visit. Under 72 hours all reservations are considered final and no refund will be given ,but a rain check can be given for the number of participants and will expire one year from the scheduled tour. Much preparation is required and expenses are incurred to accommodate each scheduled tour and due to limited space others have likely been turned away for your tour time. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
Course Rules: Because of the time, effort, and experience put forth in designing our zip line canopy tour you will not be required to brake yourself or drag yourself over spans of cable. Our expertly designed tour will not require "hand braking" to slow yourself down, so you can spend more time enjoying the tour and leave your safety to us. Our professionally trained staff will take care of you from start to finish.
Although our tour prides itself on safety standards high above the needed industry standards we still DO NOT allow the following people to participate:
Pregnant women
Those under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or anything else that may impair judgement
Those that suffer from medical conditions that may require immediate medical attention.
Those with serious physical or mental disorders that would prevent them from being able to understand and/or follow the instructions necessary to complete the course
People who have existing or recurring injuries or have had back, leg, or knee surgeries own other surgeries that may impede their ability to stop, start, bend, or twist
The following Items are not permitted on the course:
NO backpacks, fanny packs, purses, cameras, or anything else that won't fit in your front pockets
NO chewing gum or hard candy
Restrictions and Weight/Height Limits:
Male guests should be between 45 and 275 lbs; Females guests should be between 45 and 225 lbs
If you have any chronic or recent injuries or have had recent surgery, be sure to tell your guide so they can properly accommodate you
Ropes course participants must be at least 51" for the outdoor course and 56" for the indoor course.
Long hair should be pulled back into a low pony tail
Delays and Weather: Tours canceled by the operator due to weather will be rescheduled or given a voucher. Tours typically cancel in the event of high winds or lightening , but we do operate in the rain. Any additional costs incurred in conjunction with your tour are not included. The management reserves the right to cancel or alter any itinerary, as current conditions require. If we have to cancel your tour we will do our best to contact you and try to reschedule or provide a voucher for another time.
